HJ Heaven and Earth CheonBo Training Center

On October 27, 2014, I received a new mission from True Parents to serve as president of what is now the HJ Heaven and Earth CheonBo Training Center. On the day I received this heavenly mission, I could not sleep, no matter how hard I tried. This was because the position carried an immense providential responsibility. But I also thought that all the guidance I had received over the 44 years since receiving Heaven’s call had been preparation for this very day, and that this was Heaven’s providence, which I could not turn away from.

At the International Leaders’ Conference on October 27, True Mother highly praised Daemo nim’s achievements, expressed her appreciation for the hardships endured by Hoonmo nim in offering her body for this work, and said that these achievements should be honored. I will engrave that sacred and devoted life in my heart and strive to live a life beyond reproach.

True Father is in the heavenly world, which is in the subject position, while True Mother, who has achieved oneness of heart, body, thought, and harmony with True Father, is in the earthly world, which is in the object position. At the 40th-day memorial commemorating True Father’s Seonghwa, True Mother said, “From now on, my thoughts are Father’s thoughts, and Father’s thoughts are my thoughts.” The time has come for True Father to work together with True Mother on earth from a position in which they are one in heart, one in body, one in thought, one in harmony, and one in purpose. In this historic era, simply because I have been inaugurated as president of the training center, I do not think that it is I who am doing the work.

First, as I assume my responsibility as president of the training center, I want above all to empty my heart. I will offer my utmost jeongseong so that only True Parents, the King of Kings and Queen of Queens, may dwell and work within that empty space. I will empty my heart before the words of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind, who command both the spirit world and the physical world, and attend them with a heart free of conflict. This is because I believe that this is the true path of heavenly harmony and the way to accomplish all things.

Second, I want this training center to overflow with spirit and truth. True Parents long for all churches to overflow with spirit and truth. I want this training center to become the central point where the fire of spirit and truth is ignited.

Third, I want this training center to be transformed to meet the needs of this new age. As we entered the new millennium, True Parents spoke these words, recorded on page 1,314 (12.3.3:5) of Cheon Seong Gyeong.

“The new age of the twenty-first century is an age of universal values. It is an age when material things do not dominate our mind and spirit. It is an age in which we live in oneness with God. In the twenty-first century, people will realize that living for the sake of others is far more valuable than living for oneself. Self-centeredness will fade away and altruism, based on interdependence, mutual prosperity and mutually shared values, will finally and triumphantly emerge.”

We will now become a training center suited to this age. I will offer my utmost jeongseong to make this a training center that inspires all our members to deeply internalize the values by which they must live in order to become owners of Cheon Il Guk in the twenty-first century.
